As with all our fruit fly cultures, we use a special excelsior that is much thicker and longer lasting than the ones you usally see in fruit fly cultures, which increases production and longevity!
 
Ships before visible pupae but after some larvae are seen; Pupae may drown in shipment. Ensures longest shelf life while being optimal for shipping and ready to feed soon after recieving. Local pickups can be at any stage.
