At Solaxisflauna, we prioritize the safety and health of our live animals, feeder insects, and plants. The following Shipping Policy outlines how we handle order fulfillment, shipping schedules, carrier use, and live item precautions.

 

1. Processing Time

• Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

• Orders containing live animals or plants are only shipped Monday through Wednesdayto avoid weekend delays.

• Orders placed after Wednesday at noon (PST) will be held and shipped the following week to ensure live arrival.

 

2. Shipping Methods

• We use reputable carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, based on item type, destination, and customer preference.

• Shipping options may include:

o Priority Mail / Ground

o 2-Day Air

o Overnight Shipping (required in some temperature-sensitive cases)

• The appropriate method will be selected to ensure the best balance of speed, safety, and cost.

 

3. Live Arrival and Temperature Considerations

• Live arrival is only guaranteed when:

o Daytime temperatures at the delivery location are between 40°F and 90°F.

o The customer selects appropriate shipping (e.g., Overnight or Hold for Pickup) during extreme weather conditions.

• We reserve the right to delay shipping if weather conditions pose a risk to the health of the items.

• Heat or cold packs will be included, when necessary for a small fee.

 

4. Hold for Pickup (Recommended)

• Customers may request that their package be held at a local post office or shipping centerto avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.

• This is strongly recommended for live animals, especially in areas with unpredictable weather.

 

5. Tracking and Delivery

• A tracking number will be provided via email once your order has shipped.

• Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking information and being available to receive the package.

• Failure to be present for delivery may void the Live Arrival Guarantee.

 

6. Delays and Liability

• We are not responsible for delays, mishandling, or loss caused by the shipping carrier.

• We are also not responsible for packages that are misdelivered due to incorrect address information. Please double-check all details before confirming your order.

 

7. Shipping Areas

• We currently ship within the continental United States only.
We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally due to live import restrictions and transit limitations.

 

8. Damaged or Missing Items

• If your package arrives damaged or with missing items, contact us within 2 hours of delivery with photos of the box and contents.

• Missing or damaged claims without visual evidence may be denied.
